Why try and re-invent the wheel? The saying holds true to so many people in the fitness industry. We are currently making mistakes that other personal trainers have been making for years. Why not find someone who has done it all and got it right, then learn how they did it, and do it!
I heard Daine’s name come up numerous times when I was completing my PICP Level 1 and 2. I saw him referenced in articles by the likes of Charles Poliquin and Nick Mitchell. If you want to be up there with the best in the industry, you need to learn from one of the best in the industry. This is what I did by deciding to take part in Clean Health’s 3 day Internship.
In those 3 days I learned more than I could have from reading any book or doing any online course through Daine and his senior coaches Rawdon Dubois and Clint Sellen. The knowledge that I took away has separated me from all the other trainers in my club and the clients I have picked up passively, from doing my own training or training my clients using the programming techniques I learned, has increased dramatically.
The best thing about the internship is that it didn’t just stop after the 3 days. They have remained in contact, sending my info, setting up skype calls, making me aware of workshops they were holding. By doing the internship I not only learned so much in those 3 days I felt my head was going to explode, but I also made a really great support contact in the industry.
Don’t be an 18 month statistic, learn from the best, have heaps of fun doing it, and get beasted like you never thought possible on the weights floor!

I contacted Daine last year to help me further my knowledge of Poliquin’s BioSignature method. After working with him for the last six months of 2010 I consider him second to none in Australia in his knowledge of the BioSignature method and his ability to integrate functional medicine with strength training to achieve rapid improvements in health, performance and body composition.
